Compared with our G1 servo, the G2 (V2 version) comes with several significant upgrades, as detailed below:
1.Voltage Range Upgrade: The V2 version supports a wider voltage range of 7.4V – 16.8V, replacing the G1’s 7.4V – 12.4V, which enables faster operating speed.
2.Power Supply Requirement: A separate 7.4V-16.8V 4S battery is required (instead of the 3S battery for G1) to deliver more power. This is particularly important because if the servo draws power directly from the ESC, voltage drops may occur, leading to unstable truck operation.
3.Mounting Hole Enhancement: M4 mounting holes are adopted instead of the G1’s M3 holes. This allows the use of M4 screws to secure the servo horn, effectively preventing the screws from loosening easily.
4.Housing Material Upgrade: The servo housing is made of 7075 aluminum alloy, replacing the 6061 aluminum alloy used in the G1 servo for improved durability and strength.
